Cancellation Policy
Booking Terms and Conditions TJC Safety and Response Training 2. Booking and Confirmation 2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the Company issues a written confirmation or invoice. 2.2 The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion. 2.3 Any changes to the agreed scope of work (e.g., extra hours, additional attendees, change of venue) must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional charges. 3. Fees and Payment Terms 3.1 Payment Due Date: Full payment is due at time of booking. 3.3 Deposit Classification: The Company does not require a separate deposit payment; however, 25% of the total course fee is classified as a non-refundable deposit to cover administrative costs and date reservation. This amount is retained in the event of cancellation as per 4. Cancellation and Postponement 4.1 Client Cancellation: If the Client wishes to cancel or postpone a booked service, they must notify the Company in writing. Cancellation fees will be charged on the following sliding scale: - More than 28 days’ notice: No charge (except the 25% non-refundable deposit element). - Between 14 and 28 days’ notice: 50% of the total invoice amount. - Less than 14 days’ notice: 100% of the total invoice/booking amount. 4.2 Company Postponement: In the unlikely event that TJC Safety and Response Training needs to postpone a course (e.g., due to instructor illness, severe weather, or unforeseen operational circumstances), the Company will offer a rescheduled date at the earliest mutual convenience. 4.3 The Company’s liability in the event of Company Postponement is limited to the re-delivery of the training. The Company is not liable for any incidental costs incurred by the Client, such as travel or accommodation bookings. 5. Client Obligations and Candidate Suitability 5.3 Physical Capability: In compliance with Resus Council UK guidelines, candidates must be physically capable of performing practical assessments. This includes the ability to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and other physical interventions. 5.4 It is the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure all candidates attending the course meet these physical requirements. 5.5 If a candidate is unable to complete the practical assessments due to physical limitations, they will not be certified. In such instances, the full course fee remains payable, and no refund will be offered.
