FAQ's
Q: How long are First Aid certificates valid for?
A: All regulated First Aid certificates (including First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid, and Paediatric First Aid) are valid for 3 years. The HSE strongly recommends that qualified first aiders undertake a 3-hour annual refresher course to keep their skills up to date between re-certifications.
Q: Do you offer blended learning options for First Aid?
A: Yes! For our 3-Day First Aid at Work and 2-Day Paediatric First Aid courses, we offer a blended learning option. This allows delegates to complete 6 hours of interactive e-learning online at their own pace, followed by practical face-to-face training with an instructor. This cuts down employee downtime by half.

Q: What is the difference between Fire Awareness and Fire Warden (Fire Marshal) training?
-
Fire Awareness: A short 3-hour session designed for all staff members. It covers basic fire prevention, recognizing hazards, building evacuation procedures, and safe extinguisher use.
-
Fire Warden / Marshal Training: A full day (6 hours) course designed for designated workplace fire wardens. It covers emergency planning, conducting roll calls, managing evacuations, liaising with fire services, and performing routine fire safety inspections.
